I work with community cultural management for the benefit of democratic practices, nurturing environments in which programming is conceived with and for the social advancement. I am committed to enhancing public awareness about the arts sector and supporting cultural democracy, critical thinking, freedom of expression, and autonomy to achieve a common goal.

Curated multicultural art shows at the Cultural Forum Galleries and 6 art exhibits at the Mills International Center.
Developed marketing plans for the opening receptions and to support participating artists.
Facilitated the Involvement of diverse community groups throughout the process.
Trained and prepared local artists and student exhibitors, for the installation of their show.
Trained and supervised a group of student staff about gallery practices and communications.
Instructed artists on professional practices involving marketing and installation strategies.
Organized exhibition schedules including call and review of proposals.
Managed the gallery budget and external communications, within public relations coordinator.
Relevant Experience
Participated in lecture with Oregon Shakespeare Festival directors, Paul Nicholson & Bill Rauch.
Facilitated the development of an evaluation protocol for democratic empowerment.
Facilitated the Involvement of the organization’s Latino Youth & primary stakeholders throughout the design process.
Presented about my research topic on how to evaluate democratic practices of empowerment in organizations.
Organized the event to bring Doug Cohen, UN/UNESCO Chair of National Youth Initiatives-US Partnership for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
Participated in the leadership training to explore the role of a Change Agent to empower local and international movements.
In this congress we shared tools, new ideas and successful practices in managing arts organizations.

Participated in training on leadership development and engaging in service in local communities.
Focusing on reciprocity, partnership, capacity building and sustainability with UO Service Learning Program’s Morgan St. Jean; and a prof. from Western Kentucky University, Dr. Bernard Strenecky.
Presented a story about two Brazilian arts organizations on the Engaging Communities Panel.
