On this course I researched about:
Cultural economy and its relation with cultural policy
How to act as an art administrator in this new communication scene?
How to take advantage of the new cultural economic order?
This course presented me the vocabulary of media studies in an updated framework. Grupo Corpo: A delight of colorful dancing bodies
The abundance of lights and colors, the design of bodies shaping unconditional movements fulfilled the hearts of the public in the Arlene Schinitzer Concert Hall in Portland, in February 9th, 2011. Status
As an arts administrator I work with marketing, public relations, strategic planning, implementation and program evaluation.
I have experience with educational programming and organizing art shows. I am motivated to work in different cultural sectors such as museums, non-profit organizations, and cultural events in music, film, dance, theater and exhibitions. I can work with development, cultural mapping and as a consultant manager.
Opening Reception
Sculpture, and photography is sure to visually delight the senses of Three Hispanic women who come together to give us a taste of Latin-American art. Marina’s Art Studio opens with a public reception on Saturday May 7, 2011.
